If my child cannot attend the class, will I get a refund?

In order to receive a full refund, a cancellation notice must be received 24 hours prior to the start of the first class. 

Does my child have to attend all of the Better Baby Sitters™ (BBS) classes to receive a certificate?

We recommend that your child attend all classes. Your child will not receive a certificate if they have missed either CPR or First Aid. This is a vital part of the class, and a nurse or a trained BBS instructor teaches this information. Missed CPR or First Aid classes can be made up by attending the missed class at a different location.  Enriching Kidz™ will assist you in finding a make-up class, although it is not always possible.

My child is ill and cannot attend the first day of the Kidz Home Alone class, what are my options?

In order to obtain the full benefit of the Kidz Home Alone™ class, it is extremely important that they are taken in succession.  Therefore, if your child misses the first class, rescheduling of both classes will be necessary.  There may be an option to make up the class live online, but this is subject to availability.

I may be late picking up my child from class, or I may have to make other arrangements to have my child picked up at the last minute. What should I do?

Enriching Kidz™ feels strongly about your child’s safety and well-being.
Our policy regarding pick up is as follows: 

1) Each parent must pick up their child immediately after class is over in the location where that class is being held. This applies to anyone picking up the child (sitters, older siblings, or the parents of another class members). If different transportation arrangements need to be made, Enriching Kidz™ must be made aware of them in writing by email or a note on the day of the class. 

2) If you will be unexpectedly late, please try calling our office at (513) 560-9123.  If someone is in the office to help you, we will attempt to reach your child’s teacher by cell phone. Every attempt will be made to contact the teacher. Since we may have many classes going on in different schools each day, please specify which school your child attends. Please read on:

3) IT IS ALSO OUR POLICY THAT ALL OUR TEACHERS STAY UNTIL EVERY STUDENT HAS BEEN PICKED UP.  PLEASE BE PROMPT. BE AWARE THAT OUR TEACHERS HAVE OBLIGATIONS OF THEIR OWN AFTER CLASS, AND WAITING FOR YOU CAN BE INCONVENIENT. THEREFORE, REPEATED OFFENDERS WILL BE ASKED TO FIND A BETTER TIME TO ENROLL THEIR CHILD.

If my child loses his or her class manual or First Aid kit, can I get a replacement?

Yes. There will be a replacement fee, however.  Manuals are $4.00 and First Aid kits are $7.00 plus shipping. Tax is included. Please call our office at (513) 336-9993, or e-mail us if you need to replace an item.

What if there is a snow day and school is cancelled?

If the school district decides not to open school on a snow day, or closes early due to inclement weather, all Enriching Kidz after-school classes are cancelled.  If class is cancelled, it may take a few days to contact the school to get an alternative make-up day.  You will be notified by email regarding the rescheduled class date.

What are some of the reasons a class could be cancelled?

Classes can be cancelled due to inclement weather, low enrollment, illness of the instructor, or any circumstance that causes the cancellation of classes at a particular location.  Every attempt is made to find an alternate date to make up the class, and you will be notified by email when that alternate date is established.  Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the alternate date will be suitable for everyone.  If your child is unable to attend the class on the alternate date selected, please contact our office immediately at (513) 336-9993.
